SPIDER-MAN star TOBEY MAGUIRE and director SAM RAIMI suffered sleepless nights while they made the film franchise’s third movie - because the cartoon superhero’s evil side upset their consciences. Raimi reveals he felt terrible about turning Spider-Man into a vengeful villain in some of the scenes in Spider-Man 3, where Maguire’s web-slinging character’s red and blue costume turned black. And the fact that he was messing with a hero’s goodness left him tossing and turning in his sleep. He tells EW.com, “It was very hard for me, going through days and days of writing and shooting scenes where Spider-Man’s affected by his dark side. Tobey felt the same thing. “It was hard for us because we love the goodness within that character.” And, as the film is set to break box office records around the world this weekend (ends06May07), Raimi admits he perhaps went a little too far in his attempts to show that Spider-Man isn’t all good. He adds, “We probably should have used more restraint.”

When I was at Wal-Mart with my mother a couple of weeks ago, we spent a long time roaming around the health section. And to my surprise and elation, I saw there was a product called Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. I was craving amusement, and there it was. Butt Paste.
I couldn’t believe it was real. That there was an actual product called Butt Paste. But there it was, cartoon baby and all. It’s a skin cream for diaper rash, minor burns, and insect bites. They don’t even advertise, they just build on word-of-mouth. Probably from guys like me saying, “My God, there’s a product called Butt Paste? Genius!”

Sheer genius!

Every time we passed it, I’d pick up the Butt Paste and marvel at the packaging. “Pleasant scent”? Oh, God, this could only be funnier if I’d been high at the time. I wish I had been–I’d still be there giggling.

“Goes on and cleans off easily,” I joked. “So, Butt Paste has more than one purpose?”

My mom rolled her eyes and sighed. “That’s not what it’s for.”

“But, it could be, right?”

Here’s the best part: There are products. I cannot stress enough how badly I want a Boudreaux’s Butt Paste tee shirt. Or a hat. Probably a tee shirt.

It even just sounds pleasant to say.

Alessandra Ambrosio is seen here modeling something pink and sitting in one of those futuristic chairs that never took off. You know, the one you bought to try and be trendy, but ended up returning because it reminded you of a free standing jock strap. And that may not have been a bad thing if you could actually use it to cup your testicles. Although, that would require you to have elephanitits which would mean you’d have more to worry about than deciding which piece of furniture will get you laid. What were we talking about? Oh yea. If Lindsay Lohan had an affair with DJ Samantha Ronson, as the always accurate Star is claiming, then she must be over it already. Sources report that the actress, who appears on Radar’s forthcoming June cover, set her sights firmly on keyboardist/guitarist James Righton of Brit-pop buzz band Klaxons at the Coachella music festival this weekend which she attended along with Ronson’s brother, DJ Mark Ronson.

Witnesses say Lohan got touchy feely with Righton on Sunday, enlisting the help of her bodyguard to attract the rocker’s attention. The bouncer told Righton that Lohan wanted to “say goodbye,” and as Righton was inside the club schmoozing with fans, La Lohan sat patiently outside puffing cigarettes, and finally left alone. In a last ditch effort, she barraged the rocker with late-night text messages, witnesses say. “She looked like a woman on a mission,” one onlooker tells Radar. “And that mission was a Klaxon.
