All of the answers have a mother. Too difficult? OK, how about all the answers are mothers. (not as in difficult, but as in are a mom)

1. This sometimes brunette A list movie actress gave up her child for adoption twelve years ago while she was still struggling. Now the child wants to meet the mom, but the mom is freaked out by what the public may say.

2. This B list television actress mom who moves from show to show caught her then 17 year old daughter having sex with her then mid 40’s husband.

3. This former A list movie actress, now struggling B list television/film actress never gets to see her teenage children. The reason is that she made Mommie Dearest look like a saint.

4. This mom of the century raised a lawyer/blogger who wants her to know how much she means to him and that he appreciates her struggles as a single mom. Yes, he was an ass as a teenager, “borrowed” money until his mid 20’s, and maybe doesn’t express his love enough, or call enough, but she’s never stopped loving him which makes her the greatest mom in the world.

Britney finally ditched those weeks-old fishnets with the big ‘ol holes in the them to don an outfit that makes her look like a neglected 80s Barbie doll. Gone is the trashy cowboy hat and smell brown boots, and she seems to have at least temporarily abandoned the slutty country hobo look for a Jane Fonda workout outfit that falls flat.

She wore pink flower-embossed micro shorts and a blue tank with a goofy beach scene and “Malibu” written under it. A weird towel was draped around her neck and she donned a pink and white checked cap over a brown wig. While one would hope that knee high tube socks and sneakers mean she’s going to the dance studio, the photo was captioned “Britney Spears and a friend seen out and about in Los Angeles, California.”

The latest Britney news is that she’s making a pop dance album, which is what she’s good at. One of her producers says that it won’t be personal at all, and she’ll keep it upbeat. It is expected to be out this September.

Hopefully she was recently dancing, although that’s no excuse for that outfit.

Mischa Barton’s photos of her great back spread all over Internet, with those tight slipless beige pants… well, I think it’s a good thing homage her with these pantyhose red-carpet photos, just to remember that Mischa has great legs also!

Sophie Ellis-Bextor is some brit-chick pop singer who is kinda cute. She’s 28, and she’s married to some dude named Richard. She’s got a kid, too.

There’s something about her skinny little brit-chick look, though. She has this look, like she’s a little fireball in bed. I can tell.

Waitress star Keri Russell is in the home stretch of her pregnancy and is pleased she’s had a pretty uncomplicated nine months, pregnancy brain notwithstanding.

I’m very close to the end. I’m having a great and really easy pregnancy, compared to my girlfriends. This is my first one.

Her excitement for impending motherhood and her new film, in which she plays a pregnant waitress, is tempered by the death of its director, writer and star, Adrienne Shelly, who was murdered in her New York City office in November, leaving behind her husband Andy Ostroy and 3-year-old daughter, Sophie. Sophie has a small role in the film, a cameo Keri and co-star Cheryl Hines were deeply affected by when they attended a screening.

We said, ‘You know, we don’t have to get sad about this. Let’s try to enjoy this. It’s a happy movie.’ But as soon as that kid comes on at the end, it’s just like, ‘Jeez.’ It’s right there…[Andy] is a great dad and a great husband. I’ve seen them and they’re doing the best that they can.
