Here’s a pretty hot spanish song! Meet Anna Carina, she’s a peruvian singer. Her style is pop/rock and she already has two albums in her music career so far. Her latest record was “Espiral” released in 2005 and the track i’m leaving you above it’s titled “Dime” (Tell Me) which is the second single off that album. Anna is one beautiful girl, i even got the chance to see her at a club when i was in Peru. I loove her music, glad she’s getting success from this latest album and i’m sure with time she’ll get the place she deserves in the latin music business. This track is really great, it’s a pop rock slow jam and i really like her vocals. I’ll leave you below some links for like the music video of the song, a live performance, lyrics and her official website. Check it out and hope you like it

Between the giant toys of Paprika and the giant sculptures of Time, as well as the psychological breakdowns of the characters in both films, Saturday evening’s pair of films strangely worked as a double feature about people and their dreams, and their sense of self. In Paprika the main female character final unites the two versions of herself, while in Time the female character remains hopelessly divided in her identity.

I usually, at best, ambivalent about anime. While I recognize and appreciate the craftsmanship, I find myself losing interest in the stories. The story for Paprika is so convoluted that I am unable to relay it in such a way that it would make sense. It is sufficient to say that the plot revolves around a machine called the DC Mini, which enables people to see and even be in other peoples’ dreams. The DC Mini has been stolen by a former colleague of the scientists who created the machine.

The sexy CHARMED actress Rose McGowan prefers to party in gay clubs, because she finds herself harassed whenever she visits heterosexual clubs.

McGowan has been visiting homosexual nightclubs since she is a teenager ( mhmmm..ok! ) and loves the atmosphere.

She says, “In straight clubs you will have two dudes that will sandwich you and start grinding. I do not want to be sandwiched or ground upon.”

Rose McGowan and Latino ROBERT RODRIGUEZ have confirmed they are a couple after appearing hand-in-hand at the Cannes Film Festival.

Rodriguez and McGowan, worked together on Planet Terror, movie from Quentin Tarantino.

Masters of Horror: Dance of the Dead

June 3, 2007 · No Comments

Director: Tobe Hooper
Screenplay: Richard Christian Matheson, based on a short story by Richard Matheson
Airdate: 11 November 2005

Easily the worst episode of Masters of Horror I’ve seen so far. Worse than “Deer Woman,” even.

The story involves a young girl, Peggy, living in an American small town with her grandmother after a plague has wiped out most of humankind. The first act tries to split the difference between presenting a picture of small town America perservering and a sort of Road Warrior weirdness. Some punks come into her life, led by Jak and his reprobate friend Boxx (played by Ryan MacDonald, who does some of the worst acting I’ve ever seen, even for genre television), and in a supreme cliche, Peggy is attracted to Jak and his wild hair and his wild ways. She wants to go with him to town and see this big show everyone’s talking about. And the show involves the Dance of the Dead, which is basically torturing a person left in a zombielike state by this plague. And there are other twists to come, each more obvious than the one which preceded it.

It’s too bad this episode is just so terrible. The opening sequence is scary as hell and sets an excellent tone in a very effective way. The direction is strong, and the crisis at hand is terrifying enough to pull you right in. But the rest of the episode settles down into obviousness and direction so weak it almost seems disinterested. The characters are so cliched they aren’t even memorable. I’m still not sure what the hell Robert Englund is doing in this as the Master of Ceremonies. Why give him a story? People are using humans as a drug supply? Okay, but it never goes anywhere interesting.

The major theme, of course, is what’s quickly becoming an old saw: the disregard for the safety of Americans by those in power. It’s a fair point, but not made much of here. I do appreciate that Hooper and Matheson try to focus on character instead of gore and scares, but simply rewriting parts of The Wild One don’t make for a compelling story.

My Rating: 1 out of 5
