Just two days after parting ways with her manager, Kelly Clarkson has canceled her upcoming summer tour over disappointing ticket sales, yet another sign of turmoil as she prepares to release her third album, “My December.” In a statement on her Web site, Clarkson said:
“I can’t tell you how much I’ve been looking forward to getting out there to perform for y’all. In the craziness of the music business, performing is what I look forward to doing the most, so it really is disappointing for me to have to tell you that I won’t be coming out to tour this summer. The fact is that touring is just too much too soon. But I promise you that we’re going to get back out there as soon as is humanly possible to give you a show that will be even better. Thanks for all of your love and continued support.”
I have done some thinking about this and had some discussions with some of my friends regarding Rihanna blowing up. She is full fledge taking over the game right now. My question is do you think she is the new Beyonce? Granted I know she can’t not hold a candle to Beyonce vocally but old girl is really coming into her own. She has the hottest song on the charts and her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad, debuted at the #2 spot this past week. She is at all the hottest parties, wearing the flyest clothes and please don’t even start me on that bomb a$$ haircut. Now that Ri-Ri has gotten that asymmetrical cut, err’body and their momma is getting it now. I just saw Eve and Trina rocking it this past week! Maxim Hot 100 put Rihanna higher than B on their list and now when you hear people refer to the “hottest chick in the game” they are mentioning Rihanna and Beyonce in the same breath. It seems like she blew up overnight. Keep in mind Rihanna is still only 19, Beyonce at 26 will be creeping up on 30 before you know it. Kelly Clarkson yesterday canceled her Aug. 18 show at Jones Beach and the rest of her summer tour after failing to sell enough tickets to fill 15,000-seat venues. No wonder Clarkson - who is at war with BMG chairman Clive Davis over artistic control of her third album, “My December” - fired her manager, Jeff Kwatinetz of The Firm, this week. Michael Rapino, CEO of LiveNation, one of the tour’s promoters, told The Post’s Dan Aquilante: “It’s mind-blowing when you stop to think about what Kelly Clarkson has achieved during her young career, but ticket sales have not been what we anticipated. We came to the realization that we had bit off more than we could chew.” Gregg Perloff, CEO of Another Planet Entertainment, also a Clarkson promoter, looked at the bright side: “The day when she’ll play arenas is coming, but for now, her fans should look forward to seeing her in a more intimate concert environment.” Tickets for the Jones Beach show can be refunded at the point of purchase.
Well according to the NY Post, Paris Hilton is being treated for severe ADD with adderall while she is in jail. And from these two previous posts here and here, I have taught you loyal readers that adderall is simply diet coke and can make you so high and so coked out or addied out if you eat too many. Of course Paris wants to be sped up so her time in jail can be nothing more than a blipblur in her life.

Celebrity offspring Rumer Willis has been cast opposite dad Bruce in the upcoming dark comedy The Sophomore. Fellow young Hollywood fav Mischa Barton will play a popular Catholic high school girl who persuades a sophomore reporter to investigate the theft of SAT exams, which eventually reveals a more sinister conspiracy. Rumer Willis plays a troublemaking sidekick to Barton’s character, and Bruce Willis will take on the role of the school’s twisted principal. The film, previously titled Assassination of a High School President, is a teenage take on the classic film Chinatown.
London’s The Sun says that singing sensation Amy Winehouse isn’t afraid to get on her husband’s case if he pisses her off.
Neither are most strong women. But in Amy’s case, it means she just might lose her $h!t and beat Blake Fielder-Civil physically.
Specifically, Amy Winehouse said that when she’s drunk - and when is she not - Blake had better watch his a$$ if he angers her.
I m either a really good drunk or I m an out-and-out $h!t, real horrible, violent, abusive, emotional drunk. I ll beat up Blake when I m drunk,” she said of the classy gent she married in a surprise wedding last month.
Bad as this might sound at first, it sure “beats” driving around drunk like Lindsay Lohan or offering up crotch shots like Britney Spears.

I m not a fighter, but if I am backed up against the wall I won’t hesitate to kick the $h!t out of anyone… I don t think one’s ability to fight has anything to do with how big you are. It s to do with how much anger is in you.
A valid point. But let’s just hope that some men, such as Alec Baldwin, who has some serious rage issues, doesn’t get crunked and subscribe to this methodology.

We talk through glass.” “And this one” gesturing to Nicky “left in hysterics,” Kathy added. “Nicky tried to keep the brave face but I never see Nicky cry.” Nicky and her mother spoke to PEOPLE on Thursday after attending family friend Barbara Walters’s ceremony to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Interviewed at a private luncheon, Nicky described her visit to the jail on Sunday as surreal. “It’s sad. It’s like right out of the movies,” she said. “The glass partition, the orange jumpsuit. Everything.” Nicky spoke of what she saw as the unfairness in Paris’s case. “What’s annoying is all these people are going on television saying that she was drinking and driving,” said Nicky. “She’s not in jail for DUI. That’s a big misconception. She’s in jail for driving on a suspended license, just like the D.A.’s wife was. … She got a $186 fine.”
